Training

Through its training programs, the AGRHYMET Regional Center aims to contribute to the development of Sahelian and African skills in the fields of food security and natural resource management.

Lasting one, two, or three years, all foundational training courses are awarded a diploma recognized by the African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education (CAMES). The AGRHYMET Regional Center organizes training at the master's level, engineering cycles, and advanced technician cycles.

The CRA’s continuing education programs (workshops, seminars, refresher courses, individual internships, etc.) provide opportunities for skill upgrading, professional development, and introduction to new tools and concepts. They allow, among other things, (i) to introduce development actors to new technologies, and (ii) to meet the potential needs for refresher and advanced training expressed by partners to address the concerns of development projects, educational and research institutions, intergovernmental organizations (IGOs), NGOs, the private sector, and other producer associations. These are organized as (i) individual or group training sessions of short duration.

All these training sessions can be conducted either face-to-face or remotely (e-learning).
